Anyone else here use them? They were listed in Nile's equipment list (though nothing specifically as to which they use). I don't know, but the sound of 7 drum mics for $80 probably can't be beat just for having extra mics.

I've got a pair of them, paid about $4 iirc a couple of years back and they've just sat on the shelf ever since.... Never really got round to trying them out though.

No, I didn't...you see it all over the place. It's possible whoever had it up on DevArt didn't design it either, but who knows. It's a pretty common pic.

I'm still curious about these mics though. If they get *any* better opinions than Behringer shit mics do, I'm sold. I've owned a couple Behringer mics and, much to any of our suprise, they aren't very good.

There's a guy on another forum I go to who consistently recommends them to people on a budget. I think he says the K-10s are nice overheads.

Can't comment on their quality other than that though.

Yeah, 'tis good for drum related stuff. Not so great for recording.

I've got a pair of K-Micros that I haven't really used at all. Bought as a novelty (OMG $5 mics!). My website has a short review or something from when I first got them. Haven't used them since.

They're omni so having 8 on a drumset seems retarded to me. Plus they're very hi output mics so you'll clip your converters using them on drums.

they'd make a decent unobtrusive talkback or room mic. As for the other mics in the line, who knows what they're like, theres so many choices in this price range.
