I'd like to get a tattoo, but I can't find anything I wouldn't mind having on my body for the rest of my life. Having a bandname tattoo is such a tricky thing...

actually i have put a lot of thought about this tatoo over the past two years. i drew it myself in ink and enlarged the k because i wanted to. i like the extra size and i didnt want just a simple katatonia logo. the artist simply copied exaclty what i handed him on a sheet of paper. as for not likeing katatonia in years? i dont much care. i love them now and cant ever see myself not likeing them. and even if i do i got it as a testament to a part of my life when i felt very strongly about this band, and so the loge represents who i was at this age. im very into remembrances and this is one of the ultimate ones. its not like i just got drunk and wandered into a tatoo place,

about tatooing a bandlogo.
I have a Slayer logo tatooed on my arm,
and although they are not my favourite band anymore, i definetly do not regret it.
in my younger years i listened to them al the time, and it symbolises that time in my life.
i am proud of everything.

thanx. this band has helpd me through some times and il always want to rember how those first few songs on Last fair deal made me feel when i first heard them. Keep making good music. il keep buying the albums.

I think I will never have a tatoo on my body...because simply I think they ruin the natural beauty of the body,so I wouldn´t like it on myself... and then if I think that it will be always there even when you get old and your skin is full of wrinkles ans so on...blahhh...

.....but I understand what they mean and why people get taooed, I also have many friends who have tatoos and everyone said they got them on some special and important period of their lives just to mark those happenings, etc.
so in this way it´s cool that someone gets a Katatonia tatoo
For me Katatonia are tatooed in my heart...and they will always have a special place there


@ Daniel...whose arm is that in your avatar, yours? did you get a new "viva emptiness" tatoo?

And speaking about the other members...a part from Mattias and Daniel have the others also tatoos? Someone has noticed?

it´s my arm and fred also got a tatoo on his arm with the last fair deal gone down theme. i think it´s an ego thing...or maybe not.
