katatonia style... But kinda repetitive and often very simple...

I haven't heard ONE solo on the whole album... There's very little dynamics in
this new album. I like Viva emptiness and the old ones better. But hey, this
album has it's small moments too.

I find the album to be really good. Much like Viva Emptiness. I enjoy it quite a lot, though i havent listened to all of the tracks so far. I think the Renske's vocals have gotten better, and are really awesome on this album.

Katatonia have always been very simple.

Compared to Opeth yeah, but not always as simple as now.
Listen to their early work . . . Long songs with great guitar works
and death growls! examples: Brave yester days, Brave murder day and Dance of December souls . . .
