I am of the opposite opinion. I like the first two albums better than every thing else. Their only album I really dislike is Last Fair Deal Gone Down, since it is an indie rock album, and not a metal album, and I can't stand indie rock.

by whatever you mean by indie rock (gay radio rock music of today? the 80s to kind of early 90s american underground?) last fair deal gone down, like, isn't it (it is pretty boring tho)

it's not that different from any of the post-BMD albums.

Well, it doesn't really have as many real riffs as the preceding albums, and has a lot of dry/acoustic guitar. I really do think that it's like Coldplay on steroids.
