Katatonia's "Brave Murder Day" -- who wants it?

You can have my Thy Serpent-album (Christcrusher) or my Tenebrae (The Mist soften my sorrow) if you like I guess... They both suck, but maybe I shouldn't tell you that :/

I'll give you a swift kick in the bum for it, maybe even toss in a shiny nickel or three for shipping.

Everyone should get BMD at any cost really, it's Katatonia's best and one of my top three albums ever... With Agalloch "Pale Folklore" and Ulver "Bergtatt"...

It's actually less boo-hoo than "Dance of December Souls." It's not less depressing, quite the opposite, but it's not really about love and sorrow and stuff in the way that DoDS occasionally was.

Brave and 12 are the only real songs about love on BMD.

so sorath is the only one interested in this spectacular album? for shame, royal carnage people! for shame!
Most of us already own it. In fact, it should belong in that other "you have to be fucking stupid not to own this" thread.

That's got Akerfeld right? I tell ya, I don't care what anyone says, that man's voice is spot on in the growl department.
He certainly can growl and he's better on BMD and Sounds of Decay than he's ever been in Opeth. He sounds more desperate etc. He does a really really long scream somewhere on BMD also, I believe it's on "Brave."

Also, just trade the album to Sorath and be done with it, he could use a good album for a change :p

HÖHÖHÖ

And sorely, sorely missed on Crimson II in my opinion, just because his growls are at least distinct. Ugh, I'm liking Crimson II less and less the more I hear it. But I digress...
