Everyone should get BMD at any cost really, it's Katatonia's best and one of my top three albums ever... With Agalloch "Pale Folklore" and Ulver "Bergtatt"...

I agree, and the album contains one of his best performances...Mikael has always been one of my favorite rough vocalists.

He certainly can growl and he's better on BMD and Sounds of Decay than he's ever been in Opeth. He sounds more desperate etc. He does a really really long scream somewhere on BMD also, I believe it's on "Brave."

Also, just trade the album to Sorath and be done with it, he could use a good album for a change

And sorely, sorely missed on Crimson II in my opinion, just because his growls are at least distinct. Ugh, I'm liking Crimson II less and less the more I hear it. But I digress...
