Crimson II vocals suck, there is no distinction between Swano and that other dude. Tagtgren should have been part of it, provided he didn't do Catch 22 style vocals.

Akerfeldt rocks, he's quickly becoming my favorite growler.

Akerfeldt is better than average growler, but hardly the best at his trade. But I will admit, his growls have gotten better with Opeth as time goes on, with his best performance with Opeth being on BWP. Too bad the music sucks.

But I agree with Erik, Akerfeldt's performance on BMD and SoD are the best of his career.

I didn't like his vocals in Bloodbath, except on the EP. The full-length was a turd.

Anyhoo, Ares can out-growl Akerfeldt any day.
