I'm getting ready to open the lake cabin soon. So, pretty much every weekend I can sit on the dock and see this:

Hey Steph,
What part of the island were you staying? Did you make it to Tunnels Beach? That is the best place to snorkel. My mother-in-law owns a condo in Kapa'a so my wife and I go there as much as we can. It really is one of the most beautiful spots on our planet.

I stayed in Princeville but saw other places on the island as well. Where is Tunnels Beach? I'd like to know in case I get another opportunity to go to Kauai again. :)

I know you went to Hanalei, so if you kept going on that road until it ended, that's where Tunnels Beach is. A very beautiful (but sometimes very crowded) beach where the snorkeling is outta this world and you can swim thru some lava tubes. Also it is where the Napali trail begins. No THAT is an AMAZING hike! Highly recommended! Kauai is one of my favorite spots in the world. Just breathtaking. :Spin:

Hey that looks simular to the view in front of my house, except my lake isn't as big... Simular to reflection lake on Mt. Rainer but bigger, and if they ever cut the trees down on the other side, then we will get a good clear view of the Olympic Mountains, mainly the Brothers Moutains dead center.
