You loose.

how can "I loose"?

EDIT: and actually i think i win since you people still haven't realized Kayo Dot is gay crap and yet I realized it after 2 listens.

i think Tobbey MCguire is palying a trik on every KD fan ... "check this out, MOTW was too over the top pf most peoples heads already ... that's poser shit ... we'll start a band that nobody will like ... but some claim they will ... you know ... just because ... you know ... it's cool to like sensless crap"

:loco:

Nah, it's definitely not the case here. I still maintain that they are one of the best band around. I know it can be frustrating to be unable to "catch" what all the praises are all about, but don't fall into the cliché of calling "senseless crap" what you don't understand. I fooled myself by adopting this kind of attitude with Sunn O))) and I was just plain wrong...

"Nowwwwwwwwwww you're mine, my cunting child!"

thank god some bands are willing to experiment within metal. yes, I do consider KD metal because they clearly are capable of more brutality than dumbass bands who sound trapped in the 80s. but they are more than that. whoever said a metal band can't be more than bass/guitar/drums?? rules are for the unimaginative.

Bwahaha, I laugh at those who automatically dismiss anything difficult immediately. If you have to meet a work of art halfway, generally it is that work that will have the most lasting impression. It is no coincidence or exercise in pretention that some of the most affecting works of art are the most difficult. But some just want entertainment. And that's okay with me.

James Joyce's ULYSSES = pretentious, gay crap. Who would want to put the time into analyzing/studying this garbage?

Stravinsky's LE SACRE = bunch of noise

Milton's PARADISE LOST = what, you have to have a dictionary to understand this?!? I realized immediately that it was crap. Too wordy.

Pablo Picasso = can't paint for SHIT. None of his pictures look real!

oddly enough I can appreciate all that stuff ... and find it "real"

KD sounds a little ... too ... we try to hard ... we are good at what we do ... but we try to hard.

I listened to this album on the way to the mountains today; took a break from it for a few weeks. Stunning. Just fucking stunning. Album of the year.
