I don't really care for the rack version because the lunchbox + case is much smaller and lighter than a rack, but I am very interested in a power amp.
I hope it's for the lunchbox model or both the lunchbox and a possible rack-format version.

this will be sweet, but honstly i think that price will remain the same and new rack version will be 1/2 more expensive than "radio".

It's also annoying that you have to send your KPA to Germany to get a power amp installed as well. And indications seem to be that the power amp will cost at least $700 - no thanks.

Why the fuck does it need a 600w power section? That's enough to blow most guitar cabs no bother!

I'd assume its a class D solid state amp. I doubt the volume will be different than a normal tube head.

Price bump + insane price on the poweramp for the rack version kinda puts me off, but I love my little lunchbox.

FWIW, downloaded/installed the 1.6 firmware - everything sounds and feels a bit better, the aliasing is totally gone, and they fixed my issue with the on-board 808 model. So stoked on this unit right now.
