good point man,some of my favourite albums took me a few listens before it really kicked my ass.

i will mention a few... stomp 442,volume 8,reinventing the steel
and the one that will suprise alot of u is pantera's crushing vulgar display of power!!!

i discovered pantera from far beyond driven album,next album i bought was cowboys from hell another asskicker,but when i heard vulgar it just didnt go down to well straight away,it wasnt till i saw them live and they performed alot of vulgar material that i discovered the magic of those songs.

yeah, most "metal" mags today have converted to the Nu, metal edge used to have some pretty good shit, then they started having linkin trailor park and all the other posers like pod in it, they had a megadeth article in one of them, that was good.
