~First of all, Machine Head had one good album. And in retrospect it wasn't anywhere near as good as Vio-lence. Arguably Rob Flynn turned his back on his thrash roots and fueled the fires of the rap cross-over, (as did Max Cavalera). So I don't understand why there's a big discussion over some poser UK zine's review of a has-been band. Do you know how many times I've heard the "return to form" bullshit? And besides which what is the band returning to? Juping up and down like gay idiots like they did on their first tour with Slayer in '95? No fucking thank you. Testament and Death went thru hell and high water and never felt the need to "jump da fuck up". And as for fans coming back in droves? Like Machine Head ever had more than one drove of fans. Wake me when Vio-lence (and Forbidden) gets back together.

I love Burning Red the most. Burn My Eyes gets little boring and I never got into Supercharger. Haven't heard a single note off the new one.
