Kick sample for you (modern rock oriented)

X-mass time so let's give to you some samples

Kick is a PDP 20 maple, recorded last weekend at Elixir studio A (near Toulouse, France).
No post processing except little bit of Heat in PT. Only hard hit btw.

I already do the boring editing job

Kick H> kick in and out sliced
Kick in> AKG D112 through Euphonix pre
Kick out> Coles 4038 through Euphonix pre
Room close> Coles 4038 through neve pre
Room Far> Brauner VM1 through Euphonix pre
Trash> AKG C414 (older one, put in a booth next to the live room) through Euphonix pre

Converter was Digi 192 going to PT.

Advantage using a ribbon mic is ribbon take eq really well without sounding over processed. You can go extreme without sounding unnatural
