Killswitch Engage

I love that Killswitch Engage album. Decent guitars, good sound and I like the singy bits as well. Blinding album.

As for Hypocrisy going nu-metal, well, it's a different sound, not too keen on catch22 but it has it's moments. The stuff sounds good live though :)

Holy shit, they just had an interview with Killswitch Engage on the national metal show on radio, '3 Hours of Power' on Triple J. (you Aussies know what I'm talking about).

It was with the bass player, and he sounded pretty cool!

Killswitch Engage? They're in the Rock Charts of that German music channel with their video to "My Last Serenade"... That's quite an achievement for a band that has "extreme" vocals and is not your average slipknot copy. I guess I'm gonna download some mp3s...

I heard one song by them so far and really liked it. Well this week I ordered the album, still waiting for it though, maybe it'll arrive today... and to say that they're just another nu metal band is fucking ignorant, I'm sure you didn't even really listen to them.

I just heard that shit as well...last night. Didn't really appeal to me too much. Definately sounded like sume -nu-death-melodic-metal to me...but kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

But its pretty hard to compare any band to the mighty Opeth...

I just heard them this weekend from a friend who usually listens to kind of Nu-metal styled stuff was wearing a shirt of theirs. We were blasting it in the car and it sounded great, the singer was suprisingly good, he could do anything.
