Good job! Did you find a drum midi and manually adjust for the tempo changes? I was able to get a drum midi but I spent a number of time adjusting to tempo changes to the point where I just gave up.

Heres a version i did ages ago not using your di's
Altho i think i ended up screwing it up on the final mix as i didn't know the original bpm so i had no click track to play along to without everything going stupidly out of time as well as no judgement of the kick in part after the intro. One of those simple matter of if you mess around with something too much it can end up sounding worse

Here's my shot at it. I ripped the GH stems from YT. Unfortunately, the drums are mono but it gives an idea of the tone in the mix. I aslo added the lead in the intro. Used Ampsims for this. Signal chain goes like this :

thanks man.
tone was pretty simple. esp h1000 emg 81 and 85 into a ts808 into a 5150 into a marshall 1960av. sm57 straight into pro tools.
like i said i ended up messing with the mix way too much and the end result was poor. the first mix is way more well balanced than the final.
