I know there is a gaming thread but its long and its geared mostly to RPGs and PC gaming...so my question is did anyone buy or try Kinect yet? Im thinking of picking it up for the kids for Christmas (if I can swing it by then). What are everyones thoughts?

I saw a demo at Best Buy and it looked pretty cool but I never buy brand new tech anyway so I'm not in the hunt for this. I'll wait until there are more games available.

Mine's a shit store and they had two of them up. Only one was running when I was there but it drew a small crowd.

I tried it out at best buy and there was about a half second lag on picking up your movements. I played the bowling game and it was pretty fun though
