This is my first thread in the general metal discussion. I wanted to see who is a fan of my personal favorite, King Diamond.

Diamond bangers where are you? King is working on album number 11 right now!

Yes both KD and MF rule Ass. Anything King Diamond the alter ego is involved in, I will buy. Im excited for the King Diamond tour that should kick off probably in late fall/winter. He always puts on the best show I have ever seen. And how about his long time lead guitarist Andy Laroque? SWEET guitar that man plays.

It's actually not faster or heavier, Krig. Seriously, I don't know where you get that from.

I think its up to the listener to decide who is heavier, if you want to make that decision. I think mercyful fate is more of a cult like band with a seventies heavy progressive feel to it where King Diamond is more theatrical, operatic, experimental and much more of a classical underline. Both bands are equally as heavy in there own special ways in my opinion. I love them both and dont honestly care which is heavier. I do favor Kd over MF though.
