Kingston KZ 6 Bass?

Anyone have experience with this bass? I have an opportunity to pick one up on the cheap. Thought i would ask for some opinions before i get money together.

A buddy of mine bought was and was underwhelmed and I felt the same way when I tried on in the store. Not nearly up to the standard of the MTD name IMO. Obviously YYMV.
