I am think about getting one of these amps but i have a few questions.First: what are the main differences between the amps? Second:Do they record good,either micing them or running them into the computer with a load and using impulses?

If you know of any mixing that use them, could you post them?

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I got a 'Stein Jr from Thomann about a week ago, haven't heard a Rev Pro Jr tho. http://soundcloud.com/don-livio/charlez-krank-master/s-f48lD
This is a quick reamp I did last saturday with these di files http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/rate-my-mix-tone-threads/692185-mixing-time-charlez-song.html, just after unboxing :D
Signal chain was TS7->Krankenstein JR->C90-loaded Mesa cab->single SM57->LS56
Thanks to Charlez for the awesome riffage.
Quick review:
What I love most about this amp is the sweep control which can change the 'stein's tone big way, the great low end (compared to a Engl Gigmaster running through the same cab) and its ballsiness.
What I don't like is that it gets as hott as molten lava pretty quickly, the somewhat cheap feeling switches in general and the fugly green power switch in particular, which will cause you to go deaf after flicking it. The amp has no standby switch btw.
You can misuse the FX loop to lower the 'stein's volume which is pretty cool for not pissing off your neighbours too much.
Almost forgot, the Krank can get a tad fizzy, which is why i keep the sweep at about 9:00 to 10:30.
