KRK Rokit Powered 8 Generation 2... Suggestions.

So yeah guys im still on a quest to get some new monitors and i was wondering if any of you have any experience with the KRK Rokit Powered 8 Generation 2. I heard that these new monitors are way better than previous generation but my question is how do these compare to other monitors around the 500 dollar range?

Im planning on going to guitar center on friday and just curious any other monitors you guys suggest that i should compared them to?

Im looking to upgrade from M-audio Bx5a's and i want to get something that will have more low end punch, but also clairty and not be so fatiguing.uke:


anyways these look like a good buy(Read some reviews in musiciansfriend but dont really know if i should consider there reviews accurate) and there perfect in my budget..

I have them right now, i like em. But these are the only monitors ive head, except the Gen1 5's. Which these Gen2 8's kill those. IMO.

I tried some Gen 2 Rokit 6's the other day... they absolutely slay the Gen 1 Rokit 8's I have in here now. I don't know what they did, but they really improved these former pieces of shit.
