Sounds great man. Love the bass tone especially. What did you use? I can never seem to get a good bass tone on anything.

I think it all sounds good except the drums are very programmed. Doesn't really detract from it though.

Yes I listened this morning and I agree about the snare. Fresh ears.


But I didn't put any verb on...so whatever you're hearing is from Slate's room samples.... assuming you are talking about drums *shrug* ??

Can you check it again? Still no low end? I'm getting enough on my end....anyone else have the problem?

Everything Slate. Used the metal hybrid kit, but you'll have to google what snares it uses. 2 of them.

I did turn down the room mics on the snare a bit.

As already said, the snare can come down and the low end can come up.

Awesome though.

Glad my bass mixing tips helped, its a pretty sick tone you've got there.

I think the lowend problem is more in the 100-200hz zone, rather than the subs (altho they could come up a TOUCH too). The guitars are the weakest part imo.
