Lake Bodom Live Question

When Alexi plays Lake Bodom live, (See Tokyo Warhearts, Lake Bodom 3:35) he plays a riff, or it sounds like two chords. What is it?

i think its just like the chord versions of the 2 notes he would play. like he'd use those as the root notes or the other note of a powerchord. i don't think its meant to be a tribute riff or something interesting.
