Lamb of God

I like most of LOG's music, although I agree it can be repetitive. But I think if some of the songs on New American Gospel (i.e. 'Terror and Hubris in the House of Frank Pollard', 'O.D.H.G.A.B.F.E.', and 'Confessional') were rerecorded they may give the rest of their catalog a run for its money.

LOG are really good. They have kickass drumbeats/double bass and they write sweet riffs but they are boring. As The Palaces Burn was repetitive. AOTW was so much better. I was impressed by Sacrament. They were pushed to the limit with that album. Redneck is an ok song. It's alwayz more fun listening to that while watching the video with it. Foot To the Throat and Walk With Me In Hell are the highlights of that album.

I got my tickets to see Lamb of God at Roseland Ballroom on March 22nd. That's gonna kick so much ass.

I like lamb a god a bunch. Palaces, Ashes and Sacrament are all great albums but i don't think i could pick a favorite out of the 3. But as much as those 3 albums rock they all have a few songs that don't do anything for me.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but LoG sounds like CoB at 3/4 speed.. Or am I crazy?

Wow the thats the farthest off anyone could of ever been when comparing two bands, congrats.

Lamb of God is a horrible band imo, metalcore FTL :yuk:

... Lamb of God is not Metal Core. Lol. Trivium is Metalcore whether they have thrash influences or not. Lamb of God does kick ass live. I haven't seen them in concert but I can tell because Killadelphia is one hell of a live album and every song sounds better live than it did in the studio recordings. A lot of their songs may sound the same at first glance but if you pay attention (as I have) you will find the unrepetitiveness in each song. Not everything in our lives is rational, you have to use your creative side once in ahwile.
