If you order it from amazon.co.uk, the dvd will be PaL, which is Europe's color encoding system. It WON'T play, unless you have a format switching TV. I ordered it from amazon uk, because for some reason my dvd player can play back ntsc and Pal dvd's, plus it has a button that switches any tv's system from ntsc to pal (I don't really know how that works, but it does!) Anyway, I also ordered it from The End because that dvd player is in my mom's room and my dvd player doesn't play PAL dvd's. I have both now. I insist, the color system is atotally separate thing from region encoding. Pal dvd's can be played on any computer dvd rom
