Laptop ground issue (AU)

Hey guys! I use my laptop for recording and get the dreaded ground loop in my monitors.
Now I am in Australia so I can't get the HUM X and so on.
Would a regular ground loop isolator work fine???

The absolutely easiest, and most dangerous way is to just lift the ground. People will now say that it's insane, but it's up to you if you want to take the risk. I've never been afraid of doing, hehe...

I tried the ground lift adapter (3 prong to 2 prong) and it works. WOuld it make a difference if you run the ungrounded adapter into a power conditioner?
