My Friend of Misery is Metallica's second most underrated song! (The most underrated being Escape) it has a BRILLIANT bass riff from Newsted. I adore that song.

None of the other albums have Wherever I May Roam, My Friend Of Misery, Enter Sandman, The God That Failed, Don't Tread On Me, Of Wolf & Man and the best Metallica song ever The Unforgiven.

There ya go, a whole list of reasons why all albums that preceded the black album absolutely shit all over it!

I don't see what the big deal about the black album is, Apart from the fact that it was made to crack the mainstream market, which it did well.
I don't mind St Anger, its a shitload better than load or reload , Frantic went off at the BDO.
