:rock: :notworthy was just amazing.. I had an absalute ball.. Started off in the Solid, had a few (maybe too many) went on to the Carling Academy... spent a fortune on merchandise (im a girl I like to buy clothes) LMAO.. The Support band wer brilliant and right now im having a brain fart and canny remember whe they were called... Anthrax were as usual outstanding.. I sang or rather screamed to every song :rock: ( i have no voice left) .. They even playd IM THE MAN!!!! and SKELETONS!!!! and they announced there gonna be making a new album.. :heh:

went to the cat house after.. someone could have told me it had been refurnished into a yuppy student emo place.. it was shyte!!! but still was a good night out.. Now I just gotta my head straightend out for work tonight.. (or should I call in sick) :kickass:
 
Will you marry me??!! My wife was at El Divo last night!

Great gig as usual, seemed a bit rusty at times(see below). The only thing that would have made it even better would have been playing Only, that would have blown the roof off!

Met the band at the M & G (another story!), Danny (who said they had'nt played in two months), Frankie & Joey very approachable, friendly and chatty, Scott less so. Ran out of time to speak to Charlie B.
 
was a great gig. great moshing and the guys seemed to be having a blast!!! i loved all the goofing around with frank and joey!
 
Aye, cathouse is a joke now. Since the refurbishment they are aiming at different folks, which means it's a shit-hole now for metal heads.
 
emm persistence of time and (brain fart again) canny mind what else... I bought one of the jackets.. a hat and a wrist band.. hey im a Anthrax geek what can I say :lol:

LMAO at your wife at El Divo... I cant believe you met them afterwards.. DAMN IT!!!! I should have seeked you out and clung to you like a freakin leach..LOL... you thought they were rusty.. OMG I thught they were great :notworthy but then Im so biast its sickening.. (sticks tounge out smilie)
 
Had a great time, sound was better than expected but the band were a bit rusty, but it didnt matter so much, cos anthrax are the best live metal band ive ever seen and their crowd interaction along with their energy is unpallarelled.....oh and aftershock is amazing live!

The shirts were: A new tour tshirt wiht a real 80's comic style judge dredd on the front, and the dates on the back

A long sleeve Judge Dredd, with the design that used to be on the front of anthrax.com

A sweet, POT shirt, with the main linear note picture on the back and "no such thing as tommorow" written on the back aswel

and the Ninjathrax "20" which the band where on stage. seemed popular, but ive already got one!

There was also this really cool wristband on sale with the reunion logo for a fiver and backpatches and shit-pretty cool

The show was just amazing, only my second concert in the whole of forever, and i want MORE XD

Seen Rammstein last year at the SECC, was pretty good, but Anthrax blew them away.

And im gonna have to give Beyond Fear a look, Owens owns on vocals XD

Well, a good night for all, no? Fucking loved the pit, after the first 3 songs i got right into it, and only stopped to try and bring my friend Stewart into it, but sadly, he wasnt up for it. Oh well, still was a huge tonne of fun.

Came home stinking of beer and sweat, Mum now believes im drinking lmao, i blame all you bastards flinging beers :P

Well, cant wait for next year XD
 
Hmm. I've seen Anthrax loadsa times now and that has to go down as pretty average IMO. Didn't help that one of my mates was refused entry for bein too drunk. Then the other two got kicked out the back door 3 songs into the set for crowd surfin!! No surfin at Anthrax?? WTF. That kinda put a bummer on the whole night for me. Tha Cathouse was pretty shit afterwards too TBH and they wouldn't accept our aftershow passes coz we arrived at 5 past midnight. Cunts.
Glad the rest of you had a blast tho, sounds like a good time was had by all except us.

With you there!!!! Have witnessed many more enjoyable 'Thrax show in the past!!
We had the same problem with the bouncers. The lad with the turbin refused to let my mate in as he was too drunk. Btw, no more drunk than the rest of us and we were not picked on!! Then when one of my brothers went to the front door to make sure he had enough cash to get a cab back to Vietnauld, he was told he'd not be getting back in either!!! So that was two down before the gig even started!!!
I've never had trouble like that at the Barras!!!! The Academy is a fucking nightmare!!!
 
Did I read they have Anthrax jackets at these shows? What are they like and how much do they cost?

they were 40 quid.. I got one.. I actually wish I had bought a hoody now.. LOL. anyone wanna swap a hoody for a jacket :)
