Thanks for the kind words about the tones, and for the unkind ones as well. Not everyone will necessarily like my work, but it seems like more people do than don't Any criticism always helps you improve.

I tried for a tone that was a bit strong in the high mids without too much fizz. This is actually quad tracked with a Baron K2 on the far guitars and a Rectifier on the more central ones. I think Matt rose the highs a bit on the Rectifier tracks; I left 'em a bit darker to compliment the slightly brighter Baron tracks.

This whole mix is super clean and quite bright and I think it needed super clean guitars to compliment it.

sounds just like a solid rectifier should! Awesome playing and awesome sounding guitars. Maybe just a tad to much highs/gain

Greg, I turned the boosted highs off on the recto in the end, and left it as it is. You were right, it sounded better, and just complimented the Baron so much more. Thanks again for your stellar work my friend, I just finished tracking a song in drop Ab last night on my 7 string, so get ready to break out that 5150
