Wow...the worst vocals I've heard in my entire 22 years on this Earth? A very strong possibility!
I mean...wow...it's so bad it's beyond even bothering me, I'm just more in shock and awe that anything could be this awful
ANYWAY, the mix - drums sound good, but in that opening fill there's some weird pop thing, maybe coming from one of the toms? Sounds like a bad edit or clipping or something. Bass is good, though perhaps a tad too middy/"burpy", kinda Geddy Lee-like, wouldn't mind it being a little tamed around 700 Hz (I think, but don't quote me on that, I'm not nearly as experienced with problem frequencies on the bass as I am with distorted guitars) Guitars sound good, wouldn't mind a bit more presence/cut around 4k, but they work well in the mix (though not a fan of the character, something weird and a touch grainy about it). I like the snare though! Though there's a very subtle sorta harsh snappiness I hear on it, perhaps coming from the verb...
And "Fear the Marxist?" What the hell does that even mean? Are they a band of neo McCarthyists?
