Imagine this: WILDCHILD'S SKILLS and MIIKA TENKULA'S SOUND combined.
That would kick all the ass in the universe, now wouldn't it?!?

Tenkulas sound wouldn't fit to COB's music :P

I also think that Tenkula is pretty underrated as a guitarist anyway. I love the way he pulls off the solos.

If I am not wrong thats the guitarist from Sentenced right? Yeah, definately it would sound good.

You are very right.
Early Sentenced is in general underrated. I love the lead on Fields of Blood, Harvester of Hate, the part before and during "Wind swept the fields".
North from Here must be one of the best (and first) melo-death-albums ever made!

I'm trying to tab that part I mentioned now...

This can't be true.. I typoed and this dead thread immediately got two replies :P I meant that the sound would NOT fit :)

I love North From Here but Shadows of the Past isn't my cup of tea. I also like all the other albums (except for Crimson).

Miika is sooo underrated. If Taneli had stayed in the band (although I'm kinda glad he didn't, the BLack League kicks everyone's ass), Miika's skills would probably far surpass Alexi's today... they all got lazy and started making almost generic rock tunes after Taneli left. They've got some of the old fire on their latest, the Cold White Light, but it's a completely different style.

Personally, I find some of the stuff on Shadows very interesting and cool, but quite a bit of it is your standard death metal... did you guys know that Miika was the "singer" on that album? Heheh... I can't get into North From Here too much, it's just not my thing, I guess (although it's got cool ideas too).

Having said that, I must add: Amok and the Love & Death EP is some of the best material I've ever heard... nothing influences and inspires me time and time again like those two releases (not even Bodom, anymore).
