Hi there, fellow axe-men,
I was wondering whether anyone here is using Amplitube 4 or 5 and has tried to emulate the WildChild's sound yet?
I used to really be into that sort of thing and I pretty much nailed the Are You Dead Yet? era sound back in the days, but I have intalled/uninstalled Amplitube repeatedly and stopped playing metal for quite sometime (bought a D'Angelico and tried my hands at Jazz guitar) and I can't for the life of me get the sound right anymore.
I watched some YT videos on how to set it up for Laiho's sound, but they all fail remarkably at capturing the essence of his tone.
So please, I implore the Guitar Gods of Utimate Metal's COB Forum for help. Share your Laiho presets !
Ps: Mind telling me, if and when you do it, which album you tried to emulate?
