cool lol... leonard got fired..... i guess minus one member = lots of weight off of the shoulders eh? in my band situation, im thinkin about proposing the idea of having a lead and rhythm bass player as well as a rhythm and lead guitar player.... will be interesting... bass solos as well as a guitar solo

oh yeah, i love lead bass. The old band i brag about all the time, the sab songs and stuff.russ, that fucker is a great lead bass player.

Well, personaly, with us doing the 70's type stuff, i think we need 2 more ppl. A 5 peice band. One to do the rythem, me to do the lead, (and rythem), the bass player, the drummer, and i want a dude who can handle keyboard, and root chord strumms and other really simple stuff just to fill in the gaps so to speak on the guitar, and do back up vox. Leonard did the keys, root note rythem, and lead vox on a few and back up on the rest. So, to tell the truth, i was worried that with us kicking leonard out of the band, that it would be a load on the shoulders, but it went very well. Plus it was weird with my name being LEON, and his being leonard anyway hahahahhha.

Hey dude, i have ment to tell you for a while, i like your own little quote there hahahaha. Thats pretty fuckin cool hahahha.

tnx about the lead/rhythm bass thing... would there be too many low-end notes clashing? or should one bass be strictly the lower 2 strings, and the lead be the higher 2 (or 3) strings? not sure how that would work hehe... would be pretty cool... dueling guitar and bass harmonized solos... hmmmmm...

about the keyboard and stuff, i was thinkin about gettin piano/keyboard lessons or something to add more of a punch to some stuff im writing... 1 guitar harmonizing the other guitar, and the keyboard harmonizing the 1st guitar.... then maybe the lead bass harmonizing the guitar thats being harmonized first off it might work, it might not, ya never know... has the band that you're in played any shows?

No, my band has played no shows. I want another full time member first. ANd leonard has set us back on teaching someone else the stuff. I really want the keyboard just becouse the style of songs we are playing.

Im not sure about the 2 bases. Dl the song by SPINAL TAP called big bottom. All three front men are playing a bass in that song. A 4 string, a 5 string and a 6 string.

I will also say this. If you go back in history, and look for teh post i made about the Metal fest i went to back in FEB 2002, you find a review i gave about this band with 2 bass playes. The review was not good. They just didnt pull it off very well. The thing they were doing, or what it looked like they were doing was= one guy was playing the deep notes, and the other guys was hitting the very same notes, but only an octave higher. IT really didnt come across very well IMO.

But give the spinal tap song a try,. They do a very good job. The main riff is pretty simple to look at, or sounds simple when your listening, but different once you start playing it.

Yeah man, check the spinal tap song........BIG BOTTOM. ITs actually a joke about the song FAT BOTTOM GIRLS by Queen. BUt the dudes in spinal tap are very good on their axes.

ello again i dont think this is good... the middle finger on my fretting hand has been hurting constantly for the past 3 days at the knuckle where it joins the rest of my hand... if im getting arthritis, im screwed

nahh, just get some joint lotion. ANd dont stretch so far for a while. Go into the big stretches slowly, and get your fingers used toi the pull.

a copper braclet helps joint pain as well.

ppl who haev arthritis were a copper braclet, and they wear copper rings as well. Just little ones you know, they really dont show up much. I cnat think of the name of the joint stuff. Like icey hot or something.
Teh older folks i know with the problems, they swear by their coppers rings and braclets.

Ill tell you of practice tomorrow, leonard came back, and there was a bit of trouble. Not from me, but the drummer. He stabbed his sticks threw his drum head.

havent seen that much snow since 96! the cold bothers me because i get chapped lips, the heat bothers me because i get sunburnt and hot, i like room temperature.. whicn is why i stay inside all day

well, heat does bother me, but the cold is worse. AT least i make money becouse it gets cold here hahhaha.
My hands get chapped in the winter, they fuckin crack and bust. I have to slap the lotion on them, and it only helps some.

I love OUTSIDE though.

No its not. Mine started doing that after i got concrete poison on my hands. I got if from drywall/sheetrock. ANything that starts as powder, and you mix with water to make it harden, if you ahve cuts on your hands, then you get the stuff in the cuts, ...........

It hurts somewhat to open your fingers up, or stretch your hand out. Luckily, mine crack little timy cuts that burn, but heal fast.

Im glad your not getting into the biz as well, although, it is very lucritive. I only sell the wood, cause i like money. ANd i want a whole load in the bank for when i hit around 50.
