Leno Vs. Conan

I read a comment on the thing Dakryn posted and it really sums up my thoughts about this:

Who in their right mind thinks that Conan is going to take the same crowd Leno developed. The ratings take time. From what I recall, Leno didn't do so hot when he took Carson's spot. I think this move is a big mistake. They should have stayed with their plan and allowed Leno to fizzle.

I'm happy that Leno will be coming back though (I'm a bigger fan of him than Conan, mainly because snarky humor only goes so far), and I think people are quick to point fingers at him when it really is the studio executives and affiliates decision..all Leno did was say yes to whether or not he wanted his old spot back.

I find it funny that you guys think Leno is all evil and trying to purposely screw over Conan like he's an enemy. Seriously, where did you guys get that garbage?

It's NBC's fault that all of this is happening. NBC gave both of them an option. If Leno's only options are to either retire or keep working, can you really blame him for choosing the latter?
