Well preface with the fact that they're older models - two of the first generation. They're slow to use, drivers aren't that stable. The interface is fairly clumsy too. They'd run the LePou plugins I reckon, but they'd struggle to do much else. They're also quite noisy and don't have Hi-Z inputs for guitar signals.

Plus running code on a dedicated DSP is more stable and efficient than cramming a computer into a box.
 
I have been working on the idea of making a DSP based hardware modeler. I came with the idea of running an embedded OS so that a VST host and some audio drivers could directly interface VSTs into the DSP. If the current VST programmers wanted to up the power of said amp sims to get something a little more realistic and a bit more of a CPU hog specifically for the unit, then that would be great.
