Lethe78 Totally Rules...

You might find it interesting that hadn't it been for your ability with written English I would have thought you were, in fact, a girl I used to know by the name of Big Ilaria. She is famous for using the Lethe nickname, although she intersperses it with the far more trivial Oilily. And she once said that Rahvin is but a puppet, supposedly in my hands, bound to crash to the floor if the strings are cut - of course, she was the mighty stringcutter. The fact that she was born in 1979 would not really block her from using a nickname ending with "78": in fact, she also said that when she was 11 she had a 16-y-o boyfriend who died from heroin od, and the very last thing he did before dying was typing a six-page love letter in two colours and hand it to her. but now i affirm in front of the world that no, you are not Big Ilaria. And, let me add, you should be incredibly happy because of it.

No, that is incorrect, Wanderingblade, I was merely citing a feasible example, simply to help my credibillity when I stated what I had about people bitching about other people's posts. That was the first one that came to mind.

@lethe78:  the only one that gets going here seems to be you. i really don't think anyone took your thread that seriously or grudgingly. of course it was a joke, and - i feel - lighthearted enough to be pleasant. my "own" thread about it was of course nothing but a joke anyway.
in much the same way - except maybe for misanthrope's vibrant reply, but that's his way of stating his point and he's entitled to have both his way and his point - everybody here just laughed along, with their own comments. no need to pretend they're the ones who got upset: they didn't.

but you do. and call the way some ppl might express dissenting opinions about anything "bitching about". am i bitching about when i tell you i don't agree?
i don't agree with the fact that discussing something means bitching about. have you bychance noticed that there's ppl on some boards posting 15-20 one-liners per day just to say "hi" and "i'm going to sleep"? i feel that whatever discussion is worth taking the risk of a little exaggeration, and who cares if it's not earth-shattering? i can assure you we don't spend our nights in anguish because of posts we don't like.
and i don't agree with your opinion about the threads revolving around damage done. as with many others many times before, you hide behind your claims that you'll buy the album just so that you can, well, bitch about without addressing the real issue, which is (for the upteenth time): some feel that we might make an effort and keep dd-related discussions out of this forum until release date or close to it. what has all this pro-against-dontknowabout-piracy blabber got to do with it? absolutely nothing.
not to mention your ridiculous claim that exploiting a band is exclusively the exploiter's problem. along the same lines, if we're bitching about this is only our problem and you were making the same mistake just by bringing it up.
with that said (let me think, this is a hard one... oh, yeah) goodbye.

rahvin.

That is okay, my point was totally missed. I am not irate about anything, I have been laughing my ass off while writing this stuff.
This is too much fun. And you are absolutely correct; there is a massive difference between "bitching about" and discussion.

although i'm not sure one can't be irate and laughing at the same time (or shall we call it scorn?), i'm glad if it's ok and you're ok. i was really confused by noticing such a reaction when i had notice before no reason at all for it. :)

this now seems to imply you're the original and possibly unique repository of the latter, but since you seem to shy away from doing either i shall gladly leave it at that. it's enough to know this thread just went overboard for a very short while. :)

rahvin.

nobody shall dominate over rahvin in a fight: that's something everybody has got to accept.

@thanatos: you can email her at orkid@freemail.it. say whatever comes to your mind and please post the reply to the forum

hyena (ridens)

Maybe she had 3 grandfathers, lol. Genetic engineering is doing wonders these days. Perhaps one of her grandmothers had become a transexual. Maybe even a hermaphradite, who often changed its gender back and forth. Was not quite sure whether to be a man or a woman, so it alternated. Just a theory.

@wanderingblade; @lethe78:  the funniest thing is she would probably confirm all of your theories - but only if they're utterly false. :)

I know two girls like that. Unfortunately, I went out with both of them before I knew what they were about. What luck.

i went out a lot with the one hyena mentioned, so i can relate. :s
care for a beer, pal? :D

rahvin. (per/prosecuted)

@lethe: join, join the club! rahvin and me seem to have an instinctual preference towards people who invent the silliest of parallel existence.

hyena (i know what you're all about - now)

Thinking about it, I believe I could use a beer, lol.

Hey... I am listening to Opeth-The night and the Silent Water, and there is an acoustic part about 2/3 of the way through that sounds suspisciously like In Flames-Whoracle..... Coincidence?

Ok, ok, right, so ummmm...does this mean I DON'T get a fanclub?

You still can get a fanclub. :) I'll join since you use the cool words of "trippy" and "meep".

Meep!!!!!! :D
