Hey, it's cool to talk about all these famous bands, don't get me wrong. But I would rather talk about our own music, our own songs, and our own fame. Post what instrument you play, how your band is doing, and any cool facts that you would like to share. (Don't be scared to brag)

OK. My musical endeavor is called Darcroven, in which I play all instruments, voices and drum programming. It's what I like to call eclectic and eccentric extreme metal, in that it runs the gamut from crushingly heavy riffs to calm acoustic pieces. Influences range from Behemoth, Opeth, Neurosis (in some places), Dark Fortress, Keep of Kalessin, various American BM and some prog. As far as how it's doing, an album has been recorded, mixed and mastered throughout the summer using personal hardware and software without any outside influences. Also currently seeking a possible label to put it out on. Link's in the sig.

I write music, lyrics, growl, and play keyboards in a "band" called ORCumentary. Its kind of metal but its also comedic and the lyrical content is about orcs.

I released an album at the beginning of the year and put it on itunes the summer :D

Both of my bands have links below.

Yildun is Technical Death metal. We recorded a demo ourselves and those are the songs you can hear at the link. We are trying to fill out the lineup but that is proving difficult with the extremity and technicality of the songs. Oh and the fact that the drummer is 15. A lot of people don't seem to care how good someone is if they aren't old enough... Their loss haha

Autolatry is black metal. It consists of the same three members as Yildun although we do have someone learning the songs on guitar and are only actively seeking a bassist for this band. We have an album recorded, we are mixing and mastering it now. It will be released by the new year.

For both bands we are looking for as many shows as possible between december 18th and january 2nd. Anywhere in New England, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, so if you know of a show we can get on contact us yildunmetal@gmail.com Let us know what band or both and so long as something else hasn't been booked yet we'll play it.
