I have been for about 4 months now chatting through e-mails with the chief editor of Metal Hammer magazine and I asked him what makes him decide to put a band on the cover. He said that it was either him, his staff or fan led petitions!!!. He was'nt obviously interested when I begged him to put Anthrax in the mag or on the cover (obviously because he's not just gonna listen to one person, right?) So I was thinking why don't we all put a little effort in to get the editor interested in the idea of having Anthrax in the mag. The editor always answers e-mails and is obviously more inclined to do so if the sender is nice.

I know Metal Hammer has gone a bit shitty over the years and that's why I was wondering if we could give it a go and let the editor know about real hard rock/metal bands. Don't you want your say in what should be covered.

Circus is a fuckin' stupid mag I know, but it's all I really get to see in my country besides Metal Hammer and Hit Parader. So if we can get descent bands featured in that shitty mag it will turn the fans probably on to good music and maybe the staff at Circus will wake the fuck up.

Classic Rock is a lot better magazine, although I do get Metal Hammer to see if anything decent comes into it. Like Devin Townsend. But you never know, the last time anything Anthrax was in Classic Rock was 3 years ago when they looked at John Bush's house.

So it would be good if they did do something about Anthrax.

Yeah sure Classic rock is pretty good, they have witty interviews totally cool photos and evrything else but they also tend to cover the bands that are total has beens or are'nt even going anymore so what's the point. Have you tried e-mailing them and seeing if they could cover some more of them? You can either sit on your ass and complain all the time or you can take part!!!

Yeh, Classic Rock is good but best of all is Metal Maniacs!! Anyway, I don't think the losers in MH will be interested in Anthrax onthe cover, the mag might loose their neurotic teen skatergoth following. They'll probably have PoRn or Cradle of Shit or something.

I told you that guy gives replies if your nice! Unfortunately I couldn't get everyone to give it a bash but I think the fact that me you and Thraxdude have e-mailed him should get him hinking about spreading the disease.
When I first got a reply from Chris Ingham which was a long time ago I might add, he said the same thing. Of course he can't do much of an article on Anthrax if nothing is happening and you'll see the same thing in other rock mags. If the band's got a new album coming out or there's a big tour happening or somebody died they usually give coverage and sometimes even put them on the cover. But unfortunately I don't think he shall be putting Anthrax on the cover anytime soon because their sales at the moment totally suck(which shouldn't really matter) and Chris prefers the old Anthrax to the new Anthrax. He thinks the new Anthrax material is a little dry....whatever that means?!?
But I think Chris will be giving them some definite coverage when the new album comes out which is ACE! I just wish Chris would wake the fuck up and realise that Kittie have been going about 5 years at the most and Anthrax has been going about approx. 18 years. Have made way better records, have a better drummer, have a better guitarist a better bassist and singer, have overcome huge difficulties like losing their label and tons of other things and Chris still has dumbass equation to think that Kittie shuld be on the cover rather than Anthrax. I'll keep on trying..we'll all keep on trying. So Brat did you get a reply from the retards at Circus? Thraxdude, did you get a reply from Chris?

Yup, I checked out your website obviously you have changed your name to Thraxdude compared to the old Snidedude. Your site was cool but I will check out more of it some other time because in my country a local telephone call to our service providers for the internet are very expensive. I am 18 years old and my mom gets pretty pissed off when I'm on for a long time, ha ha I guess she's like a NET NANNY! In your pictures you were by that one shop there, for the life of me I can't remeber what it's called but I've been standing right there man!!! Yeah that rules, it means that we both stood at that same point!!! What exact date did you come to S.A? Did you only see the Cape Point? Did you experience any problems with crime while you were in my country? S.A has some of the worst crime statistics in the world, there is a lot of poverty, racism , unbelievable amounts of rape and things like that. That's where Slayer comes in nicely, after hearing about Sep 11th you can't help but get angry with the world and the way things are going. Slayers helps a person relieve tension which is good but I sometimes wonder about the message they put across in their lyrics. There's nothing wrong with self expression but when Slayer express their love of hate and Satanism, I try and keep away. What do you think of Slayer?

Hey. The truck we borrowed got broken into on the 3rd day we were in S.A. I did notice crime and poverty. That really sucks.
I was gonna put the picture I took of the truck's broken window on my site, but decided to stick with the positive stuff.
But I also noticed a lot of beautiful sites and met a lot of cool people. People are more friendly in S.A. compared to in America, or Colorado, anyway.
And, yes, I have seen Cape Point, there are pictures of it on www.snidedude.com I guess you didn't get that far.
Cape Point was INCREDIBLE!! I really liked that part of my trip!
Dee Snider is cool, I never bought a Twisted Sister album, though.

Slayer-I LOVE Slayer!!!!!!! I don't take that satanic stuff seriously. But I do LOVE them. I think they did that old satanic stuff just to get a reaction.

I hate satanic bands, there is bugger all positivitey in it for me. And if Slayer did the Satanism thing to get noticed, that's patheticand irresponsible considering how some kids have aparently already killed themselves and each other apparently "due to slayer's lyrics". It's an interesting debate.
