I was looking in the SSL Matrix pretty hardcore when it first came out.. It definately had some nifty features..

Personally, I'd say go Euphonix.. with the argosy console and a few 8-fader modules you'll have a good looking mix-area..

I absolutely loathe those things. Not as much as the 01/02, but still. I'm not really even sure why, I just find them really counter-intuitive.
