So started tracking the guitars for my bands new cd the other night, prooving to be quite a pain getting the guitars sounding 'good'.
Here is where im at so far, any pointers or ideas you think would make the tone better would be much appreciated (nevermind the aweful playing, a full day trying to get a decent tone left me with no will to play 100% ha).
Ibanez rG7620 (emg 707) -> maxon od9 -> Hd147 -> Vetta 4x12 -> Firepod -> Nuendo.

2 tracks, panned hard left and hard right, solo down the middle. You can probably hear that they sound a bit 'cheap' but yea, any pointers would be appreciated alot. Wish i hadnt sold my 5150 now...
