List your 5 favorite 80's thrash bands

Testament
Megadeth
Slayer
Anthrax
Exodus

I just bought used:

Anthrax - Sound of White Noise
Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction (tape)
Death Angel - Act III (tape)
Armored Saint - Saints Will Conquer (tape)

...which is interesting because I bet very few my age even own a tape.

Coroner
Megadeth, actually I fail to see how they ever lost the thrash roots, with the sole exception of Risk
Testament, of course
Kreator
Sodom
old Metallica
Exodus
Death, to me had a great deal of thrash
Iced Earth
Anthrax

The Accused (More Fun Than an Open Casket Funeral) 1987
Annihilator( Alice In Hell )1989
Celtic Frost
Death Angel
Exciter
Exodus
Flotsam and Jetsam
Laaz Rockit
Megadeth
Overkill
Possessed
Powermad
Sepultura
Slayer
Sodom
Tankard
Voivod
Whiplash
just to name a few but i spent most of my 80's in the basment in a cloud of green smoke and a puddle of booze

Yes, You're a dreamer. I'm not saying it to be mean,
but, before an ounce of credit should go to them,
they should prove it. I mean, Black Album (BlaNk Album),
Load, Reload - (unload) , Garage Inc (Garage Stinks) and Metallica S and M.
They've let Lars run that band for 15 years too long.
That means since Garage Re-Revisited came out.

Besides, after not writing a real metal record since 1985
(When Puppets was recorded) do you really think they have
what it takes? thousands of bands have come along
since then.

-just my 2 cents.
