Slayer has always been one of my favorites. I remember listening to Hell Awaits and then Reign in Blood when they came out. Nothing compared then... And it's debatable if stuff does now.

Slayer (obviously... can't really beat Seasons In The Abyss and Reign In Blood)...
Early Metallica (say what you like about the new stuff, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets are still fantastic).
Dew-Scented (new German thrash titans)
Carnal Forge (a bit slower than I usually like, but very intense - and I just know The Wanderer is going to disagree here!)
Testament are cool too.

Hmmmm........lets see. I noticed someone posted Pantera - Cowboys from Hell and asked forgiveness. You need no forgiveness, CFH was and is one of the greatest thrash albums.

Ritual Carnage (sounds alot like old Slayer )
Sodom's M-16 kicks mucho ass.
