list your pres

4 - Apogee Ensemble built-in pres
1 - Seventh Circle Audio Neve 1272 clone
3 - Seventh Circle Audio API 312 clone
8 - Presonus Digimax LT pres

The Apogee and SCA pres handle all vocals, guitars, bass, etc. Digimax pres get used on drum triggers, DI's, scratch tracks, close mic'd cymbals and resonant drum heads. Gets the job done in my small studio.

SPL Track One (1 channel)
SM Pro Audio PR8E (8 channel, I don't recommend it to anyone for anything else except trigger/demo usage)

I really need to get some good 2-4 channel preamp to replace the SM, was thinking of getting either the RME quadmic or Focusrite Octopre. Any other suggestions?

hey dude, NO!NO!NO! they are normalled through the patch bay straight into Pro Tools and the desk is a mackie 32:8 Bus way better than the Onyx, but id still rather have some more outboard channels

A POD 2.0 used for everything. Until anyone can buy me a good RME interface from the States or Europe.
