I've had the tape for a while, but now is pretty much the only time I've been able to really listen to it. Yes, I'm at work, and no, I don't have shit to do.

Man, really good stuff hear, mates. The fuzzy guitars (they're fuzzy sounding through my $20 boombox) remind me of Nachtfalke, who are great. And is that actually a bass guitar I hear in "black" metal? Yes, I think it is. WOO-HOO! Beer me! Please, in all subsequent releases, keep the bass audible. That is my main complaint in most black metal., the bass not being loud enough.

I also like the vocals being high in the mix. I hate not being able to hear the vocalist. Erik, I've got to ask, doesn't that hurt your throat?

My favorite parts are where you guys slow it down a bit and jam, like in song 2, a couple of minutes into it.

Good stuff here, duders. :Spin: :tickled:

Shit man, every time I try to imitate a vocalist I end up in a coughing fit, because it scratches my vocal cords. I've heard one needs to growl/scream/screech from the gut, and not the throat.

Yes, I love the bass, especially in the first song - those 5 (I think it's five, I'm no musician) repetitive notes. They really add an eerie mood to the song.

Yeah so I'm finally getting around to this as well, since my tape decks are all dead, stupid, or both.

The volume sweep thingy is pretty loud, but it kinda adds to the feel of the first track, almost like a flanger. Unfortunately it drowns out the guitars a little bit, but not too much beyond the first track. Nice acoustic layering, good vocals, and as J. said, the bass is great.

Good stuff, mates. :kickass:

I don't have the volume problem on mine. If I do, I can't tell. Sounds good to me.

Who does the vocals that sound like Helheim's banshee-vocals? yikes...

No, don't have the link but I'd like to so I can burn this stuff to a CD-R.

I immediately thought of Helheim with those banshee vocals, I dig 'em.

Dreamlord: That's Sorath.
THose types of vocals always scare me. You know, like Burzum, early In the Woods, and Helheim have. DOn't know what it is about them....

Sidenote: I'm not saying they're bad, they just......scare me.....yeah....

Do you have the lyrics in English, BTW?

ADDPTION: Those vocals HURt. Maybe not my tthreoat butt me head ffels like it woll explode and my lungs will implpde every time adn I fear I won't be able to make those in a few years

You mean you DON'T have "Jormundgand"? Possession of that album is NOT optional.

hehe well i've been searching half idly for the vinyl edition but i guess the cd version will have to do since it seems pretty hard to come by. ...on ther other hand i've bought way to many cds as it is already, but i guess another one wont hurt... :hypno:

Hehe, spaffe, before your post I actually just searched PT for it because I had a distinct rememberance of it being available there... Alas, not anymore. I found mine in some store in Uppsala, together with Forgotten Woods "The Curse of Mankind" on severely OOP ltd. 500 gatefold vinyl. To quote NAD... CSOCRE.

haha yeah, CSOCRE indeed :]

finding the cd here in sweden is not a problem though, it's you americans that live in such a crappy place, i think stratia had it for 100 kr or so

Nokturnal Mortum will record Valhalla for the Bathory tribute Nasheim will be on. I guess that gives you guys a hardon?
