I just bought the "live Damage" DVD, just to find that the sound comes slightly before the picture. Which means that the DVD isnt synced. Is this something that just on my copy? Or do you other DT fans discovered this too? Could it be that CenturyMedia fucked up yet another DT realese.

And when the stroboscope is used i get lines over the screen that´s realy ugly.........

You lucky Swedes gets the DVD first. ;)

SirClayman: That where also two of my first impressions when I looked to the DVD. So I don't think that it has something to do with your own copy. Besides that, I think the DVD is really cool. :headbang:

Ghehe, tja... Ik moest er ook diep voor in de buidel tasten hoor, afgelopen donderdag. M'n laatste centjes bij elkaar sprokkelen ;) Hoe dan ook, na een half jaar wachten heb ik hem eindelijk hier liggen! :headbang: Heb hem overigens in A'dam gekocht, nergens verkrijgbaar hier in Den Helder :(

:( Bah, lekker waardeloos..
Ik bestel m denk ik :erk:
Ze hebben m hier ook nie (Maarja ik woon in Uden :p ;)) (Noord Brabant, dorpachtig iets)(40.000 inwoners) :p

Ik ziiiiie well :)
Ik koop m toch wel :p
Tis alleen dat we geen dvd-speler hebben hier thuis :p lol

Return it to the record company and get a voucher good for €5 which can only be used if you purchase more than €30 from them and pay €10 postage?

Here's the man's* way to fix the problem:

1. Buy a delay box (like a guitar distortion stomp box).

2. Run the delay box through the speakers of your TV/DVD player.

3. Adjust the delay to match the timing of the sound and video.

4. Enjoy the DVD.

5. Remove the delay box when done.

6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 everytime you watch the DVD.

*NOTE: The man's way is a stupid way to fix this problem, because guys love to complicate things. :)

The dvd sucks big time... the audio/video is out of sync... and the image quality is horrible!!

It's a shame that such a quality band apporves this product....

This is also a complaint to the record company!!

M.

if you are not familiar with dvd-player software and codecs do not buy dvds.

the product is perfectly ok both sync- and quality-wise with just average codecs and software configuration, as already reported by salmy on the other thread. if you can't configure a pocket calculator please don't blame the product. cm is a sucky record company under many respects, but they did not fuck up this dvd.

Codecs??? come on... i'm using a standalone dvd player.. and image sucks the bootleg material looks better then the "official" material.

And it's not so hard to sync the video with the audio, they fucked it up!
Respect to the band they ware great!
