Live In London...What has better sound? CD or DVD?

Just curious as to what has better sound...the CD or the DVD. I own the DVD and want to rip the audio from the disc to put on my ipod but if the CD sounds better I'll just buy the CD. Opinoins?

i have both and both sound the same to me. buy the cd. support the band and yes your avatar kicks ass!

the cd and the dvd when ripped to mp3 should sound ~identical, as the stereo mixes on the cd&dvd are fairly similar, and may've even been taken from the same source - i'd get the dvd, as you have the option of the DTS and DD 5.1 tracks, as well as the video and bonus interview segments, and the dvd, oddly enough, is cheaper in most places

specs:
the cd track is PCM 16bit/44.1kHz
the dvd audio stereo track is a compressed ac3 @ 192kb/s | 48.8kHz
