What bands sound better live? It doesnt matter if live is in person at a concert or on a live dvd or cd.

Rotten Sound. I've never liked grind/death on album, but they kicked ass live.

Iron Maiden, Misery Index and December are the only ones I can think of.... but especially December. They're brilliant live, compared to the shit production on their album.

Now for your question; Cannibal Corpse put on quite an energetic set, and I think they actually sound better live than on record. The same goes for NOFX, but I guess few people on here like them.

Ugh, I saw Tomahawk live once when they were with Tool and I thought they blew. Even though it was my first experience with them and I had no clue what to expect. They gave me a headache and I had no clue what was going on in any of the songs.

I would have to say Lamb of God sounds much better live than on either of their cds. They sound much bigger and more brutal.
