Sounds like a show I'd like to have been at..
Here's one I did at the weekend, unfortunatly it's not at all metal, but the band were tight enough..
I used an alesis HD24 at the show and mixed it at home..
your thoughts as well would be great..

sounds like you put one mic in the back of the room. Kind of ....not clear I guess.
We have some recording where we had two condensor mics in the back, left and right, and plugged into the mixing board direct for some ghetto rough recording and it got the job done a decent amount.
