Ahhh Geeze...I don't know, I sort of a had a bad ordeal in that area of the world (Nov '97-Luxor actually) and about a month later all the Israeli government employees went on strike. Couldn't even cross the border to catch my NY flight from TA. Ended up having to choose a one way from Kuwait Air or Gulf air to get out of there. Oddest damn thing...all these rich Arab guys with the picnic tablecloth headwraps being served by HOT blonde British flight attendants. It's like you enjoyed being there..but not REALLY. Someday I'll make it back there, but I'm in no rush at the moment. Be safe!
