the features seem to compelte everythign that nagged me about logic 7 pro. this sucks. i'll see maybe i can sell my logic on craigslist or something and pick up 8 after it comes out for a while. id like to hear some reviews...

Its looking promising. Sample accurate editing and a decent time stretch. Dont think its going to be the pro tools killer thats been talked about but it might have cault up with it.

I agree. As a PT user that new comping tool is pretty amazing. And if it does in fact have sample accurate editing in the arrange window across multiple tracks...that'll be awesome too. Might have to check it out.

Looks amazing, I may consider switching from DP.

As for the whole "Pro Tools killer" argument - I think every other program on the market slays PT. Think about it this way, Cubase, DP, and Logic all have:

• Superior MIDI
• Far better hardware support
• Better UI
• More/better plugins available

It makes no sense to me why anyone runs PT anymore.

They seriously fixed basically everything I hated about Logic 7.2. If there's a solid drum editor in there... oh man.
