Definitely bring the whole thing up first. It's a bit quiet. Kick needs to be more poppy and punchy, compress the snare and EQ it to keep it from getting lost in the mix. Same goes for the toms. Adjust guitar volume to taste.

Aye I mastered it pretty quietly solely because I'm terrible at mastering haha. What would you suggest for snare compression and sorting the kick out?

Well : did you try some transcient exciter on the snare ? Usually, I compress the snare, putting the attack setting so the transcient are more precise (but this effect doesn't have to be too loody, because you still have to hear the depth of the snare - you know what I mean ? I sometimes speak english like a spanish cow, so...) then give it a little more punch with the transcient exciter. Then, I EQ, before compression or after, it depends. If you snare seems to thin, you also have to consider that a good reverb helps, knowing that, if you use it as an AUX in your DAW, it's better you keep at least 10% of the dry signal (am I clear ?). At last, if your snare has got a lot of punch but lacks resonance and balls, the PSP Vintage warmer can help (I don't use it anymore but I remember it can be a good tool).
