I think Billy should do both, the new album take more of an SOD approach as far as album art and title--name it something like "Among the idiots", and have it like the Anthrax album cover except its billy surrounded my guys that look like Anthrax.

As far as the new stuff, I like the suggestion of an old school hardcore album

Billy should put on a mullet wig and get a tan for the album cover...

I think an all acoustic live album is in order. get some bongos a flute. Hell I'll even sit in on the Jam with wash board and triangle. Call it The Billy mialno experiance,.. a nice easy going jam for all those happy mellow grateful dead loviin hippies out there. Then once there in a deep trance like state Billy procedes to smash intruments over the heads of these clowns while Scott strums Kum bi ya.

Billy, I say "Keep M.O.D.!!"

I say that as a fan of all your albums. Some have been total hardcore thrash, some have been experimental. Some have been successful, some not. Regardless, its always been a great venue for your creativity.

Naturally, I wish you as much success as possible. If the M.O.D. name has only been attracting aging thrashers from the 80s (that'd be us), then I'm not surprised you're thinking about change. Business is business.

But I'll always be a total fan of M.O.D.

Shit... I'm gonna listen to Red White & Screwed RIGHT NOW just to remind myself how fuckin good you are after 25 years of thrashin!!

I'd stay with M.O.D. too as long as you'll still use electric guitars. I think you have a lot freedom with that name. If you listen to "Rebel ..." and "Red, White ..." it's way different but it is M.O.D.! I say: "Don't change!". Just my two cents.

Assuming you do the majority of the writing for MOD, what would be the difference whether you slapped a different name on it? Unless you're trying to bury the MOD image and go with something else?

Last album was great in my opinion. Keep doing what you're doing.
